Welcome to GoREHAB Physical Therapy, founded by Dr. Walt Gorack, DPT, MBA

During his years of practice, Walt realized that there was a need to increase accessibility to quality outpatient services for patients who may be uncomfortable in a group setting, require individualized attention, or are unable to travel to a local clinic. GoREHAB was started to better serve these active, older adults in the comfort of their own homes.

Walt is a licensed and registered Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Connecticut and Florida. His professional journey began at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is a Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) and earned his MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Hartford Barney School of Business.

Walt has experience working in various healthcare settings including acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, out-patient orthopedic rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and home healthcare. He has worked most recently as a Director of Rehabilitation and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy.

Walt works with adults of all ages, is passionate about helping older adults improve strength and balance to optimize function and wellness, and is motivated to help his patients succeed using evidence-based treatments. He believes that all adults, regardless of age, can increase their strength and mobility with patient-centered care. He is compassionate and committed to going above and beyond for all of his patients.

Walt is married to his wife, Jennifer, and together they share two sons, Max and Sam.
